Canadian Diabetes Association Launches New Tools and Resources
Just the Basics - This tool is available in a number of languages such as Tamil, Punjabi, Cree and Ojibwe. Visit www.diabetes.ca/basics to check them out. Our most recent tool, the Latin American Just the Basics also has online support material on its webpage, like many of the other cultural adaptations. This includes tools such as the Just the Basics in video format available in Spanish and Portuguese, cultural food pictures that can be used as teaching aids for carbohydrate counting and presentation slides.
