Service Description: Services for persons with a serious mental illness who come into conflict with the law

Services offered:

Court Diversion - Used to divert individuals from the criminal justice system (minor criminal offences only) into the mental health system where they can get the support and treatment designed to address their needs and minimize further involvement with the criminal justice system

Case Management - Used in order to promote compliance with the agreed upon diversion plan for up to one year after the charge has been diverted

Court Support and Consultation - For individuals who may not qualify for the diversion process can still receive support, consultation, and referral to other community supports while navigating the court process



Support groups are offered * a Community Garden program allows for 10-15 paid positions for individuals referred through Court Services
