Service Description:

A Municipally owned and operated and Ministry
of Health and Long Term Care approved 160 bed long-term care home
offering nursing and personal care on a 24-hour basis * private and
standard/basic rooms * home is made of five self-contained resident
home areas of 32 residents each * constructed in 2006
Rooms and basic services include:
- furnishings and bed linens
- laundry and housekeeping
- personal hygiene supplies
- medical/clinical supplies and devices
- meal preparation in full service dining room
- medication administration
- social and recreational programs
- assistance with the essential activities of daily living
Access to a physician and other health professionals available
Additional services and facilities include:- physiotherapy
- restorative care
- social work and dietitian services
- palliative care
- foot care
- hydro sound and whirlpool tubs
- library services
- outdoor patios, gardens
- beauty salon and barbershop
- sun rooms and balconies
- activity areas
- chapel
- family and guest dining room

- secure resident home area for residents with Alzheimer’s and other dementia's
