Service Description: Provides day and residential services to adults 18 years and over with a developmental disability in the Central Huron area* also provides children's services, such as Special Services for Home and Assistance to Children with a Severe Disability Benefits, respite supports and services to transitional aged youth for the County of Huron

Activity Centre - A 'day centre' that provides for a range of activities, including:resource room with access to computers, numeracy and literacy; lounge and cafeteria areas for personal activities such as crafts, exercise, TV, Wii, air hockey and respite * Snozelen Room - A multi-sensory room

Applied Behaviour Analysis - Services and supports for children and youth ages 0-17 with a diagnosis of Autism including Autism/Autistic Disorder, Persuasive Developmental Disorder - not otherwise specified and Asperger's Disorder (Intake through Thames Valley Children's Centre 1-866-590-8822)

Foundations Huron - Helps young adults with a developmental disability to make a successful transition from school to a range of community participation/activities/work

Residential Adult Services - Provides up to 24 hour accommodation in an "Agency" operated residential home, or supported independent living in peoples' own home * Adults residing in residential placements or in their own home may receive individualized assistance with daily living skills, social and recreational involvement, volunteer/vocational support and accommodation search

Supported Employment Services - Offers a range of employment or volunteer opportunities and day activities to individuals 18 years and over identified as having a developmental disability * services range from supported employment, work experience and volunteerism in the community to personal development activities * provides job training, support and coaching at the employer's location for both paid and volunteer positions
