Service Description: Education, advocacy and support services for people affected by epilepsy and seizure disorders
  • peer-to-peer support network, support groups, drop-in programs and community referrals
  • meetings with people, families, workplaces, and community partners to explain epilepsy and teach seizure first aid
  • community education and public awareness campaigns including educational group sessions, teachers' in-services and classroom presentations
  • children's programming
  • assistance with filling out government forms, securing medication, financial support and housing

Meeting: Evening social and support programs available:
  • First Tue of each month 6:30pm-8:30p
  • Third Tue of each month 7pm-9pm
Fees: Free membership available * nominal fee for some workshops

Epilepsy Support Centre is a non-profit organization that is specifically concerned with the non-medical welfare of people with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Our goal is to enable people with epilepsy to fully participate in all aspects of community life. Our services are available in London-Middlesex, Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent, Windsor/Essex, oxford and Elgin counties.
