Service Description:

A primary health care team that brings together health care providers to coordinate patient care * the team includes family physicians, nurses, nurse practitioner, social worker, Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) case managers and other health care providers and agencies

Services include diabetes education, diet and lifestyle education, smoking cessation counselling, mental health counselling, well baby care, antenatal care up to 36 weeks, home visits, palliative care, and a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Hyperbaric chamber located in Tobermory office provides treatment for medical conditions such as wounds and burns (referral required) as well as emergency treatment for divers with decompression sickness

About Us
We are a full service Family Medicine practice, operating in Lion’s Head and Tobermory, in the Northern Bruce Peninsula. Our team comprises 5 full-time physicians, registered practical nurses and registered nurses, a nurse practitioner, a social worker and a team of administrative staff.

In addition to same-day bookings and day-to-day family practice, we offer Diabetes education, diet and lifestyle education, smoking cessation counselling, mental health counselling, well baby care, antenatal care up to 36 weeks, home visits, palliative care, and a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Our Lion’s Head clinic is located next door to the Lion’s Head Hospital, allowing for efficient use of hospital resources, and coverage of the ER and inpatients there. Our physicians also provide healthcare to the patients at Golden Dawn Long-Term-Care facility in Lion's Head. Our team takes great pride in teaching residents and students, and we are truly appreciative of our tremendous locum coverage.
