Service Description:

Convenes a forum for the exchange of information to promote an inclusive society and provide inspiration and opportunity for people with disabilities. * A national leader and partner with other organizations and governments on various projects related to disability and communications. * Publishes several disability-related books and publications, including Abilities, Canada's Lifestyle Magazine for People with Disabilities. * Their online presence links people with disabilities to a world of resources. * Access Guide Canada (AGC): an online directory with listings of accessible public spaces in communities across the country is part of the www.abilities.ca website. * Uses volunteers to assess the accessibility of businesses and services. Volunteers add their completed assessments to the online database.
