Respite care services are provided when an individual cannot be left alone or is at significant risk if left alone and the primary caregiver requires relief from direct care
The relief role is for the purpose of decreasing primary caregiver stress and burnout, enhancing the capacity for care-giving in the home and coping with caregiver crisis/need for relief
