Service Description: Supports for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes
 
Adult Day Away Program - Owen Sound - Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults, adults with disabilities, and people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care
 
Adult Day Away Program - Meaford - Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults, adults with disabilities, and adults with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care
 
Friendly Visiting and Telephone Reassurance - Regular volunteer visits to older adults and people with disabilities, who live alone * volunteer visitors are matched one to one with seniors and adults with disabilities to provide companionship and support
 
Housekeeping - Assistance with daily chores, such as laundry, light housekeeping, pet care, errands, shopping, and meal preparation * personal support workers/trained staff visit will be based in-home evaluation
 
Meals on Wheels - Hot meals delivered weekly * lunch delivered Mon-Fri in Owen Sound * lunch delivered Mon-Thu in Thornbury * lunch delivered Tue-Fri in Meaford * special diet types available
 
MOVIN'GB - Non-emergency transportation to local medical appointments and regular activities such as grocery shopping, banking, and social activities * volunteer drivers
