Service Description: Local, national and international programs that support community health and wellness, safety/injury, violence prevention and disaster relief * volunteers welcome
Disaster Management - Assists people affected by personal or large scale disasters * works in partnership with governments and other humanitarian organization following a disaster to provide immediate basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, first aid, emotional support and family reunification * emergency shelters * services are offered based on the identified community needs and the role that Red Cross has in the local disaster response plan
Prevention and Safety - First Aid, Water Safety and Respect Education offered through licensed training partners
Restoring Family Links - Helps Canadians re-establish contact with immediate family members through tracing and inquiry after separation due to disasters, war, external conflict or international crisis
