Service Description: Companionship, respite care, and emotional support to people and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-threatening illness * bereavement support for anyone who has experienced the death of someone close * services can be provided at home, or in hospitals and long-term care homes

Volunteers provide companionship and emotional support to residents facing a life limiting illness or injury * relief is offered to family members to feel comfortable to take time away or rest * education resources, books and videos are available for loan through the resource library

Resource Library - End-of-life care collection available for loan * includes literature, audio, and video
 
Bereavement Services - Groups are provided in various communities throughout the year
 
Cancer Support Group - Trained volunteers facilitate peer support groups
 
Rainbows - Peer support group program in school for children and youth who have suffered a significant loss in their lives
