Service Description: Diabetes education, Type 1, Type 2 and at risk, taught in an outpatient setting over a 4-6 week period

Children, adolescents and their families receive interdisciplinary care * follow-up is maintained at regular three month intervals for ongoing support and education * team members involved are nurses, dietitians, social workers, child life and art therapy instructors, endocrinologist and psychologist by referral * fully developed insulin pump program
Fees: Covered by OHIP * set fee for some specialized services
