Service Description:

Coordinates health planning and program implementation and researches best practices to improve the direct delivery of local health care * works to improve access, quality and range of programs and services to promote a healthier community, to integrate services and advocates for cost effective programming to improve care

Current Programs and Initiatives include:

Evidence-Based Care Program - Develops, implements, and evaluates evidence-based clinical pathways, physician order sets, and other tools to coordinate regional care in 11 hospitals and in the community * provides education and workshops

Coordination of a regional diabetes education program

Promotion of health career recruitment through the regional greybruceis4me website
