Postsecondary Education - Develops policy for Ontario universities and Ontario colleges of applied arts and technology * provides Ontario colleges and universities with funding * provides financial assistance to eligible post-secondary students and delivers the Ontario Student Assistance Program * gives universities the authority to grant degrees * registers private career colleges

Employment and Training - Delivers employment and training services through Employment Ontario * manages provincial programs to support workplace training and workplace preparation, including apprenticeship, career and employment preparation, and adult literacy and basic skills * develops policies for training and sets standards for occupational training, particularly for trades under the Trades Qualification and Apprenticeship Act * conducts labour market research
Ontario Student Assistance Program - Provides financial assistance in the form of loans, grants, and/or scholarships/bursaries to eligible post-secondary students
