Service Description: Physical, emotional, social and spiritual support through service, information and education for families dealing with life-threatening illnesses * referral agency for palliative care services in Elgin County

Share The Care Station for Elgin County - Information and support to families, assisting them in using the materials available, to lessen caregiver stress and provide respite care

Resource Centre - Lending library with collection of donated and purchased books of inspiration, information and experiences * resource pamphlets are available with practical information on various illnesses

Programs:
  • Meditation: A Healing Tool for You
  • Art Therapy: Art for the Heart
  • Reflexology - Offered by appointment
  • Reiki - Offered by appointment
  • Pathway to Serenity; Moving Forward - For adults dealing with the death of a significant person in their life
  • Kids' Grief Program for children ages 5 to 13
  • Caring for You the Caregiver "Pamper Days" - For people living in Elgin County and actively caring for a loved one who has a life threatening or terminal illness
  • Gentle Yoga

Support Groups:
  • Drop-in Support Group (for anyone with a life threatening illness)
  • Drop-in Grief Support or one-to-one consultations
  • Drop-in Cancer Support Group (for anyone who has, or has had cancer)
