Service Description: Emergency shelter for women with or without children who have decided to leave an abusive relationship or need respite

Supports women experiencing physical, sexual, emotional, financial abuse and/or stalking * 7 bedrooms designed for shared living and families, and one accessible bedroom on the main floor * length of stay varies * child advocates are available to work with parents in shelter * emergency transportation to shelter is available for high risk situations * women are provided support with housing, legal process, income support, woman abuse education, safety planning, emotional support, counselling for women and children, safe school protocol for children, food and toiletries and referrals to other agencies when appropriate
