Service Description:
|
Arranges flights for non-emergency medical patients who cannot afford to pay for their own travel and who need treatment or diagnostic tests not available in the patient’s home community.
* Seats are donated by corporate, commercial, government and privately owned aircraft operated by Hope Air's numerous sponsors. Donated funds may be used to purchase flights when donated flights are unavailable.
* Service is available to all ages and all illness, throughout Canada. Person cannot be on life support systems or require medical assistance while on board.
* Flights can be arranged for appointments scheduled in Canada; limited ability to accommodate flights outside of Canada.
