Craigwood Youth Services

Craigwood Youth Services is seeking exceptional senior leadership to help us meet our goals in serving the care, custody and mental health needs of children, youth and families in the West region of Ontario and beyond. We are a fully accredited not-for-profit children's mental health resource providing a full spectrum of innovative treatment and counselling programs. Our spectrum of service includes most core ministry funded Child and Youth Mental health services; a Secure Youth Justice dedicated female facility and innovative services with Child Welfare involved youth and families.

Position:  Program Director

Region:  London and Middlesex

Description:  As a member of our senior management team and reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent will lead our Residential Division and collaborate with our Community Division. You will have key responsibilities for setting the service culture of the agency through overall clinical, program and staff leadership, evidence-informed practice, policy development, collaborative relationship management and meeting licensing, regulatory, contractual, performance and accreditation standards.

Qualifications: 

  • Required:
    • A Masters’ Degree in Social Work or other relevant disciplines*
    • 5 years managerial experience, with preferably two years at the senior management level
    • Residential, In-Patient and/or Youth Justice Custodial program management experience*
    • Current member in good standing with an applicable regulatory body
    • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, clinical, organization, oral and written communication skills, and computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in a unionized setting
