Diabetes Education Programs
Diabetes Education Programs provide individuals with the tools, skills and confidence needed to properly self-manage their diabetes and enable them to live healthy lives. The Diabetes Education teams consist primarily of a registered nurse and a dietician who work with family physicians and diabetes care experts. People with diabetes are encouraged to take an active role in the day-to-day management of their own health care and can access one of Ontario's Diabetes Education Programs for assistance.
