Physiotherapists - South West

Physiotherapists use a variety of therapies, such as exercise, heat, cold, electricity, ultraviolet, water and massage, to improve circulation, strengthen muscles, reduce pain and restore mobility to people debilitated by an accident or illness. Physiotherapists work in hospitals, private clinics and patients’ homes. The profession is regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

Physiotherapy services that are provided in private clinics are not insured under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

To find a physiotherapist providing direct patient care, search the ‘Find A Physiotherapist‘ section of the websites of the professional organizations listed below. Or look in the yellow pages under "Physiotherapists".

For service listings, see Physiotherapy Services - Publicly Funded Clinics or Rehabilitation Services - Private Pay Clinics.
