Psychotic Disorders - South West

Psychosis does not refer to a specific disease, but rather is a syndrome which is a part of a group of serious mental disorders in which some loss of contact with reality has occurred. A few of the specific diseases psychosis is associated with include schizophrenia, drug-induced psychosis and, less commonly, bipolar disorder (see Mood Disorders).
