Various organizations provide health and health-related information in a LGBT positive environment. They may house a list of health care resources of particular interest to the LGBT community, provide social and emotional support, or advocate supporting the passage and enforcement of laws and other social measures that protect and promote the rights and interests of LGBT individuals.
