Psychiatrists - Elgin

Psychiatrists are medical doctors with additional training in behavioural science. They work in many settings including private office practice. Most accept referrals from a variety of sources, with some accepting self and family referrals.

Psychiatrists are licensed to dispense drugs and their services are covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). The profession is regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
