Newly Renovated Palliative Care Unit Opening to Better Service People Receiving End-Of-Life Care

St Joseph's Health Care London has renovated its Palliative Care unit (PCU) located at Parkwood Institute to better serve patients receiving end-of-life care in London and Middlesex. St Joseph's PCU cares for adults who do not need the level of medical care provided at an acute level facility. Patients can access palliative care through a referral from their family physician or a community care provider.

Designed in consultation with patients and family caregivers, the new PCU has all private home-like rooms and many special features made possible by the generosity of donors through St Joseph's Health Care Foundation. An opening celebrations is being held December 6, 2018.
