Service Description:

The Infectious Diseases Care Program offers the following services: - Medical consultation, assessment, follow-up and referral
- Medication counselling, including drug / alternative
medication interactionsBlood drawingPreventive therapies and interventionsClinical trials (medications)Support and counselling Nutritional assessment, counselling and educationHealth promotion and teachingSafer sex and safer needle use teachingCommunity EducationInterpreter/translation services as required (arranged prior to visits)Peer support Treatment of complications * coordination of complex care, pharmacist consultations
Clinic also receives referrals for people with other acute and chronic infectious diseases
