  • assessment of skills, interests, and abilities
  • job search strategies and support, including resume development and interview preparation
  • information about careers and occupations, local labour market, employment opportunities
  • help in maintaining employment
  • information and referral to other employment and community services
  • helps employers find and train workers for employer needs

Better Jobs Ontario (BJO)
Provides funding to eligible unemployed individuals to cover training and living costs, including
  • tuition, books
  • transportation
  • basic living expenses
  • additional supports may be available for child care, disability-related needs, and language or skills training
