Service Description:
|
Provides non-emergency medical transportation for individuals requiring wheelchair or seated transport to medical appointments, hospitals, or long-term care facilities. Services are available for situations such as hospital discharges, therapy appointments, and routine medical visits.
Registered nurses and personal support workers (PSWs) are available to accompany clients to appointments when required. Staff can assist individuals who may have difficulty understanding or following medical instructions, including support with communication during appointments.
Additional services may include assistance with filling prescriptions and coordinating medication delivery. Personal support workers may also provide care before and after appointments, based on client needs.
