Service Description: Strengthens families knowledge and ability to relate positively to their children * promotes healthy development of children and prevention of child abuse and neglect

Parent Support Team – offers one-to-one parent education and support  in home, community or Rural Response for Healthy Children office * provides information on community resources and referrals * facilitates parenting groups throughout Huron County 

Child Support Team – offers support and education for children related to personal safety and healthy relationships * support and strategies for educators, coaches and community leaders to empower children * resources for the classroom, home and community * support in finding additional service providers

Location and timing of groups varies each season * call, email or see website Calendar of Events for list of current groups

Fees: No cost
Application: Self-referral by parents/caregivers, agency or school referral
Eligibility / Target Population: Parents, caregivers and professionals living and working with children and youth birth to 18 years
