Are you interested in supporting women who are experiencing caregiver burnout? Are you a caregiver looking for resources?
The Rural Women’s Health Support Initiative will be hosting 4 free training workshops in Grey and Bruce Counties and invite those who are interested in becoming part of a peer support network to participate. This opportunity will be of interest to individuals seeking an ongoing volunteer opportunity through which they can make a difference in the lives of people in their own community.
Those interested are asked to attend one training workshop which will take place from 9am to 4pm. Please note that the morning session will also be open to the general public.
- Morning Session: Overview of Caregiver Resources
- Afternoon Session: Health Coaching Skills & Program Delivery Planning
There is a limit of 25-30 participants per workshop. Pre-Registration is required by May 26th. Lunch will be provided for those attending both the morning and afternoon sessions.
These ROSE (Reaching Ontario Sharing Education) workshops are made possible thanks to funding from Community Foundation Grey Bruce, our partnership with Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health, and the support of local Women’s Institute Branches in Grey and Bruce Counties.
