Service Description: Parents and Caregivers for Mental Health (PCMH), formerly known as Parents for Children’s Mental Health, is Ontario’s leading voice for families navigating the child and youth mental health and addictions system. For over 30 years, PCMH has supported families through peer-led programs, education, and advocacy. PCMH continues to build a lived-experience-driven network across the province, providing peer support, trusted resources, and free webinars to parents and caregivers. Our volunteer peer support team in our Caregiver Connection program connects with families either one-to-one or in groups that are in-person, virtual, or hybrid (in-person and virtual options) across the province of Ontario. Meetings are typically held once a month or can be scheduled by email or through our website. Participants can expect a safe and friendly place to connect with others, feel heard, and receive support in navigating the child and youth mental health and addictions system.
