Service Description: Support education and information for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and their caregivers

Supports research * offers in-home or in-office consultation and support

Minds in Motion™- provides physical activity and brain stimulation for people with dementia and their care partners * offered for 2 hours a week in 8 week sessions * cost of $20 per person * available in St. Marys, Stratford and Listowel

Caring With Confidence - Support groups for family caregivers

Volunteer Companion Program - Respite and companionship for a minimum of 2 hours a week by trained volunteers
Education Programs - Education, awareness programs and resources for health care providers and family caregivers on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
First Link - One-on-one counselling and group supports for caregivers, including family and friends
Information and Support Programs - Information, support and assistance to persons living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia
Medic Alert Safely Home - National registry designed to help identify those who are lost and assist in a safe return home * personal information engraved on Medic Alert identification bracelet allows police and emergency responders to identify the person who has wandered and return him/her safely home as quickly as possible
School-Based Education Programs - Promotes awareness of and acceptance for persons living with Alzheimer's Disease in their community * elementary and secondary school interactive and educational programs
