County of Middlesex Healthy Kids Community Challenge - Three-year project designed to improve the health of children aged 12 and under * various community partners work together to implement community-based programs and activities that focus on physical activity and healthy eating
 
Middlesex Accessibility Advisory Committee - Advises and assists county government and county agencies, boards and commissions, in promoting and facilitating a barrier-free Middlesex for citizens of all abilities (universal accessibility), including persons with disabilities
 
Social Services Department - Manages access to government social services, such as Ontario Works * provides financial support for basic needs * emergency financial aid * administers subsidies to assist eligible families with the costs of licensed child care * employment assistance
